Now, after teaming up for an exclusive sneaker earlier this year, Mr Porter and Prada have reunited for a bowling-themed capsule collection. The 32-piece release is set to feature both apparel and shoes, and is heavily influenced by the 1950s and 1980s — two eras of bowling popularity.
Stefano Cantino, Prada group strategic marketing director, said he was “extremely pleased” to be part of this collaboration, "We strongly believe that this partnership with one of the major men’s wear luxury e-tailers is strategically relevant to our digital transformation in today’s changing scenario where we are making significant steps forward."

The apparel in the collection will feature a range of camp-collar shirts, with Hawaiian patterns, pop-cartoon prints and madras and gingham checks. Other pieces in the collection include mohair wool blazers, blouson jackets, polo shirts, mid-century style cardigans, flat-front trousers stripe knit T-shirts and printed tees with a special Prada bowling logo. In terms of footwear, the collection will feature loafers, creepers, cap-toe Derbies and cap-toe sneakers in nubuck and deer skin.

Mr Porter x Prada collection will be available on April 25. Alongside the collection, the retailer has shot a campaign in NYC and will unveil a Mr Porter x Prada video. It will run across the social media sites. To mark the launch, the retailer will host an event at a bowling alley in Brooklyn on April 26.
