Are you ready to fall in love?
Because two of your favorite brands are here with the best news.
Legendary French beauty brand Nars revealed its first collaboration with British label Erdem overnight at the fashion house's F/W18 show at London Fashion Week. The collection has been in the works for some time and Erdem himself was heavily involved in the creation of products. So much so, the collection features an entirely new product — a lip powder palette — the likes of which has never been produced by Nars before.
Inspired by strange flowers (florals are an Erdem signature, after all), the 13-piece collection also features lipsticks, blotting papers and eye shadow palettes.
Stepping away from the signature black packaging of Nars, the collection features six lipsticks with the most heavenly wildflower names we've ever heard (Moon Orchid and Carnal Carnation to name just a couple), an iridescent highlighter pencil called White Phox, eyeshadow palettes named Fleur Fatale and Night Garden and perhaps the standout product - a lip powder palette named Poison Rose. Yes, lip powder for that matte finish.
Speaking of the collection, Erdem told the site, "It was really interesting to explore my aesthetic in collaboration with Nars and see how far we could push different elements through colour and product. It was fascinating to develop new pigments and palettes as well as the cosmetics themselves."
The Nars x Erdem collection is available exclusively at Selfridges from April 15 and nationwide from May 1 2018.
