Meet Camila Coelho: The Brazilian Style Queen

Everyday a new Internet icon is born but few are able to stick around. Camila Coelho is part of the hard-working bloggers who manage to establish a name and keep on growing. From Dior’s beauty counter at Macy’s to the front row at haute couture shows, she accomplished a lot since her first tutorial back in 2010. She’s also part of Fhits, the largest bloggers network in the world founded by fashion empresária Alice Ferraz, based in São Paulo. On top of that, The blogger and Instagram star took to the Raplh & Russo runway to close their spring 2018 couture collection, making the perfect couture bride!

About A 29 years old Portuguese and English language fashion and beauty blogger/vlogger. Coelho launched her eponymous blog in 2010 and has since garnered over 7 million Instagram followers, over 4 millions subscribers on YouTube. She’s also a fashionista: blogging her street-style looks in pieces from Ralph Lauren, Jimmy Choo, and Louis Vuitton and taking in fashion weeks all around the globe. She now resides in the United States, adopting a bit of American glam while simultaneously bringing her Brazilian flair to North America.

Why we love Camila: She is relatable. While so many other bloggers reach fame with an aspirational lifestyle, Camila’s success comes a lot from relatability. Don't know if we should start with her authentic relatable style that dazzles us everyday or her cute and bubbly personality or her unique Brazilian beauty?

She is an inspiration for so many: The IT-vlogger has conquered the most resistant of hearts. She was the first Brazilian to reach 1 million followers on Instagram – she now has 7 millions. In 2013, Camila was celebrated on the cover of Glamour Brazil, overtaking heavyweights Helena Bordon, Thassia Naves, Lalá Rudge and Camila Coutinho. And in September 2015, Vogue Brazil registered her experience as front row guest to Dior’s haute couture show, the last signed by Raf Simons. A Cinderella tale since her beauty journey started from Dior’s beauty counter at department store Macy’s, after she moved as a teenager from Brazil to the US. In 2018, she modeled for Raplh & Russo as the couture bride and closed their spring 2018 couture collection.

Her early influences: "I’ve loved makeup since childhood. I remember my first time going to take my passport photo: I took my mom’s red lipstick and used it because I wanted to look feminine and pretty. As you might imagine, this wasn’t an expected thing for a six-year-old. She definitely had to tame my passion in my younger years, but she let me explore as I got older." as Camila Coelho said. Oh now we understand her youtube tutorial videos of celebrities’ looks!

If you are not one of Camila’s 7 millions Instagram followers, you are missing out!
