Recipe Of The Week: French Toast

When it comes to making the perfect breakfast, it seems that there are few other options that hit the spot quite like french toast does. The king of breakfasts! There are many, fancy variations on this basic french toast recipe, it works with many types of bread - white, whole wheat, cinnamon-raisin, Italian or French. Serve hot with butter or margarine and maple syrup.

Ingredients: 2 eggs 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon, Ground 2/3 cup milk 6 thick slices bread Method: - Beat egg, vanilla and cinnamon in shallow dish. Stir in milk. - Dip bread in egg mixture, turning to coat both sides evenly. - Place in pan, and cook on both sides until golden. Serve hot.
