A Look At Chanel Spring 2018 Couture Show

" HAUTE COUTURE IS THE EXTREME LUXURY. IT IS PERFECTION WITH A UNIQUE PERSONALITY. IT HAS TO DO WITH PATIENCE AND WITH MODERN AND

CURRENT TIMES." -KARL LAGERFELD

Paris haute couture shows is a dream!

Yesterday, the Chanel Spring 2018 Couture show brought a touch of early spring to Haute Couture week in Paris as models decked out in delicate, flower-strewn gowns paraded through rose-covered archways and around a fountain in a specially-built garden.

Each season the Chanel set is the talk of Fashion Weeks. Karl Lagerfeld presented Chanel Spring 2018 Couture show collection at the Grand Palais with the stunning decor inspired by nature. An alcove of leafy and wooden plaits surrounds the fountain, elevated at center stage. Beneath the arcade of this junction that are punctuated by the four entrance lodges, the models cross paths. Guests can watch them from the benches on which they sit.

Ranging in prints, embroideries or lace, flowers are sprinkled throughout the collection. Bouquets of anemones and buttercups, petals of wisteria and carnations are meshed with the traditional camellia, signature flower of the House. Leafy gems, floral laces enhanced with stones, botanical embroideries, and other floral plumetis, adorn dotted‑muslin bustier dresses and evening gowns. Tiered skirts in tulle or feather look as if they are flowers about to bloom. Multicolored petals in watercolor tints are printed on the light flowing skirts. The most noteworthy accessories took the form of transparent ankle boots with lucite heels, some of which were even adorned with dainty rose detailing (like the pair worn by Kaia Gerber in her couture debut).
