Recipe Of The Week: Garlic Bread


Here's my go-to lunch/dinner when I have no idea what to eat, or when I run out of ingredients! This recipe is the easiest to whip up when you don't have time, it literally takes less than 5 minutes to prepare and 7 minutes in the oven! My current favorite meal at home is Garlic Bread. Ingredients: Bread of your choice, preferably baguette 60g butter, softened 1 tbsp parsley flakes 2 garlic gloves, finely chopped Salt to taste Mozzarella (Optional) Method: - Pre-heat oven to 220°C, then cut the bread while slanting the knife to get even slices. - Mix the butter, parsley, and garlic in a bowl, then add salt to taste. After mixing it well, spread the mixture onto the surface of the each slice. Add mozzarella cheese on top if desired. - Place the bread slices on an oven tray and leave it in the oven from 7-10 minutes depending on how thick your bread slices are and the amount of cheese you added. - Take a look at them, when the bread is crispy and the cheese is melted, take them out and voila! They're ready to serve!
