What's In For 2018

Whether you’re renovating or just looking to invest in new cushions read this before you hit the shops. It’s that time of the year where designer set the trends. Maison & Objet, which will take place in Paris January 10-23, is the event where all designers release their newest collection formatting buyer’s perspective to what's called the latest trend! However, since we met some of the designers and had a sneak peek on what they are working on we can safely say chromatic palettes are going to be ultra-punchy and audacious:

EMRALED:

Green is back but with a new shade which is emerald. It is a tone of green that is particularly light and bright, with a faint bluish cast. Greens are always in front so don’t be afraid go wild with it! NAVY BLUE:

Navy blue is an elegant royal color and its perfect when you want to go dark but not black. It is so versatile that it can be used both as a neutral or as an accent. MILLENNIAL PINK:

Powdery pinks are very ‘now’ but be aware it wont last forever! It’s better to use these pale pinks for textiles and accessories or as a paint color that can be changed in the next few years rather than big investment pieces or more permanent installations like tiles. METALLICS:

Copper has been hugely popular for more than five years but it has reached its peak and brass is now the new “it” metal of the moment. EXPECTED STYLE:

With our lives being reliant on technology and speed reconnecting with nature is highly needed in our homes. Organic earthy vibes, hand crafted pieces and most important comfort! New type of earthen luxury will take over. Last but not least keep in mind that trends come and go. The most important thing is that you reflect your own taste and personal touch into your home.
