Dior's iconic Lady Dior handbags are getting a makeover by nine modern artists to celebrate another year of the brand's global design project. Following on from last year's exclusive Lady Dior collection, the luxury label has once again tapped new modern artists to inject their visions into the iconic range of handbags. The global design project, aptly titled the Lady Dior Art Project, will see a coveted range of art-inspired handbags, pouches and accessories as well as limited edition creations, transformed by nine newcomers this season — think Lee Bul from Korea, American poet and composer John Giorno, Chinese mosaic master Hong Hao, Los Angeles-based satirist Friedrich Kunat, Swedish-Guinean Namsa Leuba, Frenchwoman Betty Mariani, Kenyan Jamilla Okubo, Jack Pierson from Massachusetts, American artist Spencer Sweeney and installation artist David Wiseman.
