Everyone enjoys shopping, and giving the occasional impulse buy is normal. It definitely hypes us up and puts us in good mood, but what happens when shopping becomes an addiction?
The name gives it's self away “shopaholic”, Get it?
Of course we do! By borrowing as it does from 'alcoholic'. It intentionally means that the two problems have something in common, which is deserving your heart felt compaction.
There are people that are absolute rational consumers; they buy what they need or what's on sale, and on the other end, there are compulsive shoppers who buy to their own financial ruin, and then there is the rest of us in between. And the stereotype is that more women are affected than men.
Causes of one being a shopaholic is, lack of self esteem, emotional drain, different types of anxiety and so on, but they choose to drive they're pain away by materialism.

There are different solutions for shopaholics, one is to buy books or to join certain online support communities, and there are even companies that can help you manage your payment, most importantly us ladies or even some men out there are not supposed to look at shopping therapeutically and more of an occasional fun or need.
