On yesterday, Oasis Magazine and Saudi Design Week team were presented for the fourth year in a row special events dedicated to presenting innovative designs and products, highlighting the creative industries along with the designs of young talents, giving everyone a common space to gain and share experiences in design field.
King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Centre
The programme will run until 8 October at the King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Centre (KAPSARC), which was designed by the late Zaha Hadid in Riyadh.
The Saudi Design Week is the first design festival in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It includes exhibitions, design forum, workshops, market and related activities, making this celebration an appropriate place to discuss design and its role in the creative movement and creative economy growth, especially among creative youth.

This year’s theme is "Design in Motion," with the designers showcasing the stories behind their creations as they move from an idea to sketch to shelf, and seeking a more literal understanding by exploring the intersection of design, sport and even motion design through multiple dimensions such as time.
The event will bring together over 50 designers, both local and international, with the aim of establishing the region as an emerging design hub.
