Tom Ford knows how to make an entrance. At his return to New York Fashion Week, the designer transformed the Park Avenue Armory into a fitting locale for his glamorous, sharp, and sexy Spring 2018 collection. All the requisite celebrities were there, from the expected (Kim Kardashian West) to the very unexpected (Chaka Khan), and all the requisite supermodels of today walked the runway.

Kardashian joined a host of stars to watch and support her half-sister Kendall Jenner storm the catwalk.
The Show Was Separated Into Daywear and Evening
Like the showman he is, Tom Ford broke the show into separate day and evening sections. The latter was soundtracked by elegant piano music and opened by Gigi Hadid in a blush gown with armor-like sequin sleeves. Then came Kendall Jenner in a sort-of-sheer black number, followed by Joan Smalls in a black gown worn with a tuxedo jacket.

The modeling stars, and red carpet worthy dresses continued until Binx Walton’s last turn. No finale walk necessary, just Ford’s bow and a small standing ovation.
